Oksana I. Talantseva
Clinical psychologist and autism researcher.
I am a doctoral student at the University of Haifa, working in the Social and Affective Neuroscience Lab (SANS Lab), where I study the neural mechanisms of empathy in autism. I trained in clinical psychology at St Petersburg State University, where I also undertook postgraduate studies. I previously worked in Elena L. Grigorenko’s research group at St Petersburg State University and at the Scientific Center for Cognitive Research, Sirius University of Science and Technology, on autism epidemiology, standardized assessment and the psychometrics of developmental measures. From 2023 to 2024, I also served as a research consultant for INAU (In Autism), an international inclusive project developing AI-based tools to support communication for autistic people. I am a co-author of the Russian national clinical guidelines on autism spectrum disorder (2020 and 2024 editions). Alongside research, I have maintained a clinical practice since 2012.
